On 11 September 2016, a 16-year-old minor from Zububa was detained by Israeli soldiers from home at 9:00 p.m. in order to "teach other boys a lesson". He reports being taken to Al Jalama checkpoint but was not questioned. He reports being released without charge 7 hours after he was detained.

He reports ill treatment and being denied his basic legal rights under Israeli military law. He reports being released on NIS 1,000 bail, 5 days after his arrest.

Although below the age of criminal responsibility, he reports being questioned without being informed of his basic legal rights under Israeli military law. He reports being released 12 hours later.
