Testimony: M.Y.M.S.

On 23 April 2019, a 15-year-old minor from Beit Fajjar is arrested by Israeli soldiers at 3:00 a.m. He reports speaking to a lawyer prior to interrogation on the phone for less than a minute in the presence of an interrogator but not being informed of his right to silence.

Testimony: A.A.M.A.

On 16 April 2019, a 15-year-old minor from Aida refugee camp is arrested by an Israeli soldier while playing soccer at 5:30 p.m. The minor was interrogated in the presence of his father but he was not informed of his right to silence or a lawyer.

Testimony: M.G.M.S.

On 1 March 2019, a 17-year-old youth from Askar refugee camp is arrested by Israeli soldiers near the settlement of Elon Moreh at noon. He reports being interrogated several times after being informed of his right to silence but not consulting a lawyer.

Testimony: K.W.H.B.

On 13 February 2019, a 15-year-old youth from Beit Ummar is arrested by Israeli soldiers at midnight after he said he would not comply with a summons. He was accused of throwing stones but released without charge 13 hours later.

On 13 January 2019, a 16-year-old minor from Beit Ummar was arrested by Israeli soldiers at 2:00 a.m. He reports being interrogated without first being informed of his right to silence or his right to consult with a lawyer.

On 13 January 2019, a 14-year-old minor from Beit Ummar was arrested by Israeli soldiers at 1:30 a.m. He spoke to a lawyer prior to interrogation but not being informed of his right to silence by the interrogator. He was released on bail on 22 January.

Testimony: O.M.A.R.

On 13 January 2019, a 15-year-old minor from Tuqu’ was arrested by Israeli soldiers at 4:00 a.m. His parents were told he was wanted for “a chat”. He reports being interrogated without first being informed of his legal rights.

Testimony: A.I.M.N.

On 10 January 2019, a 14-year-old boy is arrested by Israeli soldiers at 12:30 a.m. He reports meeting with a lawyer prior to interrogation but not being informed by the interrogator of his right to silence until half-way through the interrogation.

Testimony: S.S.I.D.

On 10 January 2019, a 17-year-old youth is stopped at a flying checkpoint by Israeli soldiers at 10:00 p.m. He is searched and found in possession of a Swiss Army knife he reports using at work. He reports not being informed of his rights.

Testimony: Y.A.A.Z.

On 8 January 2019, a 14-year-old minor from Beit Ummar was arrested by Israeli soldiers at 2:30 a.m. He is questioned by a soldier without being informed of his legal rights. He is later released on bail on 31 January 2019.
