Testimony: N.T.A.I.

On 28 February 2018, a 15-year-old youth from Al ‘Ezariya is arrested by Israeli soldiers at 4:00 a.m. He reports being interrogated without being informed of his right to silence buy the interrogator.

On 6 February 2018, a 14-year-old boy from Ein as Sultan is arrested by Israeli soldiers on the street at 6:00 p.m. He reports being interrogated without being informed of his right to silence or his right to consult with a lawyer.

On 30 December 2017, a 15-year-old youth from Al Khadr is arrested at Rachel’s Tomb by Israeli soldiers at 10:00 a.m. He is interrogated in the presence of his mother but reports not being informed of his right to silence or his right to consult with a lawyer.

On 7 December 2017, a 17-year-old youth from Hebron is arrested by Israeli soldiers during clashes following Trump’s announcement on Jerusalem. He reports being interrogated without being informed of his legal rights under military law.

On 19 November 2017, a 16-year-old youth from Bi’lin is arrested by Israeli soldiers at 2:30 a.m. He reports that he was interrogated without first consulting with a lawyer and then being asked to sign a document in Hebrew stating that he saw a lawyer.

On 19 November 2017, a 16-year-old youth from An Nabi Saleh is detained by Israeli soldiers at the entrance to his village while on his way to school. He is tied, blindfolded and held for 6 hours before being released without charge.

On 9 November 2017, a 14-year-old boy from Al ‘Azza is detained by soldiers on his way home from school. He reports being accompanied by his father during interrogation but not being informed of his right to silence or right to consult with a lawyer.
