Testimony: M.G.M.S.

On 1 March 2019, a 17-year-old youth from Askar refugee camp is arrested by Israeli soldiers near the settlement of Elon Moreh at noon. He reports being interrogated several times after being informed of his right to silence but not consulting a lawyer.

On 13 February 2019, a 15-year-old youth from Beit Ummar is arrested by Israeli soldiers at midnight after he said he would not comply with a summons they had. He was accused of throwing stones but released without charge 13 hours later.

On 10 January 2019, a 17-year-old youth is stopped at a flying checkpoint by Israeli soldiers at 10:00 p.m. He is searched and found in possession of a Swiss Army knife he reports using at work. He reports not being informed of his rights.

On 24 December 2018, a 14-year-old boy from Al Arrub refugee camp is arrested by Israeli soldiers at 3:00 a.m. He reports being interrogated without first being informed of his legal rights. He is released without charge on 26 December.

On 15 December 2018, a 14-year-old boy from Al Arrub refugee camp is arrested by Israeli soldiers at 2:00 a.m. He reports speaking to a lawyer on the phone for 3 minutes before interrogation but not being informed of his right to silence.

On 15 December 2018, a 15-year-old youth from Al Arrub is arrested by Israeli soldiers at 2:30 a.m. He reports that he was permitted to speak to a lawyer for a few seconds prior to interrogation but was not informed of his right to silence.

On 5 December 2018, a 14-year-old boy from Al Arrub refugee camp is arrested by Israeli soldiers at 3:00 a.m. He reports speaking to a lawyer on the phone for 1 minute prior to interrogation but not being informed of his right to silence.

On 2 December 2018, a 15-year-old youth from Al Arrub is arrested by Israeli soldiers at 2:30 a.m. He reports speaking briefly to a lawyer on the phone prior to interrogation but not bing informed of his right to silence.

On 26 November 2018, a 14-year-old boy from Al Arrub refugee camp is arrested by Israeli soldiers at 2:30 a.m. He reports not being informed of his right to silence or his right to consult with a lawyer prior to interrogation.

Testimony: M.A.M.K.

On 18 November 2018, a 17-year-old youth from Kafr Ni’ma is arrested by Israeli soldiers at 2:15 a.m. His father is provided with a document written in Hebrew. He is released on NIS 2,000 bail on 26 November 2018.
